I was in the market for my first BluRay DVD player having previously purchased a high end Samsung HDTV. I wanted to stick with the Samsung brand because of the integration software built-in with the Samsung product line. I decided on the BD-P1600 1080P BluRay DVD because it also provided Internet access to Netflix for movie streaming. I already had a Netflix account and Netflix has lots of movies available for instant viewing. I have been using a separate PC to access the Internet using my HDTV as the computer monitor. This has worked OK but this seemed like it would be better.

Anyway, this DVD player was sold at Best Buy for $199.00 +tax which would be about $214.00. I found the same DVD player available online at Amazon.com for just $149.00. There is no sales tax and free Super-Saver shipping. To make things better, I even had a $20.00 gift card for Amazon so my total price delivered was just $129.00. What a deal at a 40% savings!
